The rumors proved true. The opposition had in their power the repaired SN Units of fallen and defeated Cavallian Soldiers. After disposing of a small squad of five men armed with small ivosy lasers; they just donīt have the resources or equipment needed to eliminate the last remaining target, a Pyro SN Unit used by an antieverist soldier.

With their units unable to flight or move at decent speed, they are both trapped taking cover in what remains of some older Red Desert community. Their helmets damaged and communication cut by some blocking artifact. Their only hope was some ancient communication device they stole borrowed from the dead hands of one antieverist.

Diether: "Got anything from it?"
Kajei: "They said they cannot deliver on a battlefield. It doesnīt cover the insurance."
D: "What? Who are you talking to?! Stop losing time and connect us to the Headquarters! ASAP!"
K: "Hold on, they put me on wait... They have a nice melody."
D: "Aargh!"

The frustrated Commander did his best to avoid head shooting his Second in command right there.

Just finished this one to show just what usually happens when Kajei goes on a mission with his Commander. (IT GOES WRONG)
As it is they only have one gunarm from Dietherīs Unit to fight back. But Diether has that arm broken, and Kajei canīt use his legs.
They do get out of this battle alive. But they never talk about how they did it to anyone. EVER.

Lineart in mechanical pencil and fine marker.
